“Ca D’Oro Decomposto” 2021
Acrylic on canvas
92x61cm

“Ca D’Oro Decomposto” is part of an ongoing abstract study of this example of
Gothic architecture. The colours allow the viewer to roam around, within and outside the work, and experience the emotions and sensations transmitted through the colour and the light.
The Ca D’Oro Palazzo was designed by the architects Giovanni and Bartolomeo Bon in Venice between 1428 and 1430 and commissioned by the Contarini Family.
